Waukee Boys’ Golf is a premier 4A golf program in the Central Iowa Conference (CIC) and the state of Iowa. The program has experienced progress every season since joining Class 4A in 2004. The program boasts four state titles winning in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015, along with a state runner-up finish in 2011 and 2016. Conference tournament titles have been won in the Central Iowa Metro League (CIML) and CIC conferences in 2010 and 2014. Waukee has been a dual meet conference champion eight of the past nine years.
The Warriors’ home course is Beaver Creek Golf Course in Grimes, which has a 27 hole layout. The driving range facilities at Sugar Creek Golf Course in Waukee allow the team to work on a variety of skill areas when not playing or practicing at the home course. The Waukee Boys’ Golf team travels statewide during the regular season schedule, which allows players to experience a variety of competitions and courses.
Waukee Boys’ Golf is a fall sport at Waukee. There will be a signup meeting for all 8th graders at Prairieview and Timberline in late April each spring. There will also be a signup meeting at the high school in late April. Please follow the regular building announcements for further times and dates.
