Waukee Scores – Week of September 10 and September 17

Tuesday, September 12

Girls Swimming had their first dual meet loss to Ankeny 85-101.  Event winners for the Warriors included Alex Thorson in the 200 and 500 free, Kayla Rinderknecht in the 200 IM and 100 fly, and Kassidy Rinderknecht in the 100 breastroke.

Girls XC Team wins the Valley Invitational.  Top runners for the Warriors included Sydney Schaffer (2nd), Peyton Kelderman (3rd),Isabelle Schaffer (6th), and Karson Foley (9th).

Boys XC Team edges out Valley for the win at the Valley Invitational.  Top runners for the Warriors included:  M. Smith (3rd),  D. Haisch (6th) and A. Reitsma (9th).

Boys Golf beats SE Polk,152-171. Medalist-Starr, 36. RU Medalist-Vicente, 37. Parker, 39. Pedersen, 40. The boys are 3-0 in Conference Play.

Waukee Volleyball  loses to Valley in yet another 5 set match. (21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 9-15). Current record is 13-10.

Friday, September 15

Waukee Warrior Football is now 2-2 after a loss to top ranked Dowling 48-21.

Monday, September 18

Boys Golf Team takes down Centennial behind a (-2) 34 by Bennett Pedersen. Waukee wins 146 to155. The Warriors move to 4-0.

Tuesday, September 19

Girls Swimming won their triple dual against Newton and Marshalltown winning 10 out of 12 events.  Taylor Anderson (JR) broke the school record with a personal best diving performance of 243.25.

Waukee Volleyball defeats Ames in 3 (25-9, 25-15, 25-15).

Friday, September 22

Waukee Football beats Roosevelt 48-13 taking the Warriors to a 3-2 record on the season.
