Waukee Scores – Week of November 20 and 27

Tuesday, November 21

Girls Bowling Team beat  Mason City in their season opening 2803 to 2015.  Maddie Peterson set a new school recored with a 500 series. She bowled a 266 and a 234.  As a team the bowlers set a new school record with a round one score of 1928 and a new record for match total of 2803.

Boys Bowling Team beat Mason City in their season opener 3040 -2447.  Individual series were:

Ben Fahrenkrug – 451
Tate Marsh – 418
Jack Henry – 415
Cameron Borst – 395
Charlie Titus – 394
Joseph Barnes III – 364

The varsity also bowled 967 for their 5 Bakers games, including a 5th game of 265.

Girls Basketball Team won their season opener at Ottumwa 57-39.

Tuesday, November 28

Girls Bowling Team beat Lincoln  2437 to 2364.  Maddie Peterson was the high bowler with a 367.

Boys Bowling Team split their bowling meet with Lincoln at Bowlerama in Des Moines.  The varsity team lost 2766 -2893.  Individual series were:

Tate Marsh – 364
Charlie Titus – 344
Ben Fahrenkrug – 343
Nathan Petsche – 335

Boys Basketball Team won their season opener against DM North 66-63.  Noah Hart and Jaxx Rittman both scored 16 points for Waukee, followed by Nathan Johnson with 15.

Thursday, November 30

Boys Swimming won 11 out of 11 events at Hoover and won 129-24.  The Warriors are now 2-1 on their dual season.

Warrior Wrestlers defeat #10 DM East 57-17.

Friday, Dec 1

Girls Basketball beat Mason City 81-72.  Anna Brown led the way with 33 points, followed by freshman Lexi Boles with 20 and Katie Dinnibier with 10 points.

Boys Basketball beat Mason City 78-56.  Nathan Nelson led the Warriors with 18 points followed by Nathan Johnson.  Noah Hart and Dylan Jones both scored 13 for the Warriors.

Saturday, Dec 2

Girls Bowling won their invite by 111 pins. Newton came in 2nd, Knoxville 3rd, Pella Christian 4th, and Oskaloosa 5th.  Lauren Daley was the high bowler on the girls side with a 374 and Maddie Peterson placed 3rd with a 320.
