Waukee Scores-Week of December 31 and January 7

Girls and boys bowlers sweep Marshalltown.

Girls Bowling

The Warriors are now 8-2 on the season.  The bowlers beat Marshalltown on Mon. Jan. 7, 2486 to 2262. Boys hand Bobcats their first loss in a close one 3049-3000. Girls now 8-2. Boys improve to 9-2

Boys Bowling

The boys bowlers move to 9-2 on the year. The Boys’ team handed the  Bobcats their first loss in a close one 3049-3000 in Marshalltown on Jan. 7. Both teams will host Mason City on Monday, Jan. 14 at Warrior Lanes.

Girls Basketball

The Warriors beat Fort Dodge at home on Friday, Jan 4. 99-35,  The girls then traveled to Iowa City West, where they defeated the Trojans bringing their record to 7-3.  The girls team then hosted Des Moines Lincoln on Tuesday, Jan. 8, winning handily 103-26. The next match up is in Marshalltown on Friday, Jan. 11.

Boys Basketball

The team easily defeated  the Dodgers 63-32.  The team then hosted Des Moines Lincoln on Tuesday, Jan. 8, winning easily with a score of Waukee 76 Lincoln 41. The team is now 8-0 and will also travel to Marshalltown on Jan. 11.

Boys Swimming

Warriors stay undefeated with a 129-41 win at SEP on Jan. 3 and after winning 9 of 11 events at Johnston Invite. The last home meet (Senior Recognition Night) will be Thursday, Jan. 10.

Wrestling

The Warriors traveled to Rochester, MN to compete in The Clash XVII, January 4 and 5. Warriors ended at 8th of 32 teams. Congrats to Mason Seifried for going 6-0.
