FCCLA

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is available for students in grades 9-12 who have an interest in family and consumer sciences courses (FCS) and wish to expand their knowledge about FCS. This is a hands-on group that makes it easy to get involved and meet lots of new people. This organization provides service-learning needs to individuals, families and communities.

If you enjoy competing (and winning!), there are opportunities to take an individual or group service-learning project to the next level. By competing at District, State and possibly Nationals, students are eligible for scholarships and earn Silver Cord volunteer hours. If you are looking to learn more about FCS and want to improve your leadership skills, then the Waukee Chapter of FCCLA is definitely for you!
