RAK Blogs

Meets Thursdays at 7:23 a.m. in Room 405

Began in Fall 2006 after learning about Rachel Scott, the first student killed at Columbine in 1999.  Rachel wanted to start a chain reaction of kindness, and worked to do so on her own. Students were inspired to start a group of ambassadors for new students to Waukee High School and to help keep students here connected.  The group became a service group that continued to focus on being ambassadors until the formation of Fusion a few years ago. Now, RAK focuses on service opportunities throughout the year, bringing joy through acts of kindness.
